The seminar is open to those with a background in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, education, corrections, law enforcement, pastoral counseling, human resources, and those who need or desire to work with angry and hostile clients. Students in these fields may also be accepted

The seminar fulfills all the NAMA (1) basic content and (2) supervision requirements for the certification. Once you have completed this seminar you may apply directly for NAMA certification ($100 application fee) Certification benefits include:

INSTRUCTORS:

Dr. Rich Pfeiffer & Dr. Anita Bohensky,  will facilitate on both Thursday & Friday                           rpphotsmo.jpg (8292 bytes)

Rich Pfeiffer, M.Div., Ph.D. - Director/Founder Growth Central, author of the Real Solution Anger Management Workbook and Distinguished Diplomate of NAMA. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an Integral Psychotherapist, and a nationally Certified Group Psychotherapist. His psychological and theological training provide the foundation for his expertise in helping professionals hone their skills as Anger Management Specialists. He has published numerous books on mental health and is an internationally recognized authority on anger management and relationships.                                                         

Anita Bohensky, PhD - Director of Whole Child & Adolescent Center, author of the Anger Management Workbook for Kids & Teens. Dr. Bohensky is a graduate of New York University where she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology. Her training is extensive having received a Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, New York, NY.  She is Director of the Whole Child & Adolescent Center, an Assistant Adjunct Professor and Supervisor at Columbia University Teachers College, and a Supervisor at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health. She works with children, adolescents, and adults.
